Version 12.0 – Updates to latest code amendment
Version 12.0 is a major upgrade and includes a number of improvements and additions. This version is also in compliance with:
- ASME VIII:2010 edition A11a
- EN13445:2009 Issue 3
- PD5500:2009 Amendment No. 3
- EN13480-3:2002/A4:2010
The material libraries have been updated to ASME II Part D:2010 A11a, and all EN materials have been updated to latest revisions of standards.
Version 12.0 – General
Added a new module for design of ring support for vertical vessels to EN13445 section 16.13. This section also includes a detailed load analysis including wind load, seismic loads, accelerations and blast loads.
Rectangular vessels can now be calculated to EN13445 Section 15 and ASME VIII Div.1 Appendix 13.
Added a new option to add pipe bends when running the modules for EN13445 and AD2000.
Added a new option in the design of tubesheet so that the user may select individual design temperatures for each load case for the tubesheet, tubes, shell and channel.
Added calculation of ligament to ASME VIII D1 section UG-53.
Improved the module for Impact Testing to ASME UCS-66 and UHA-51.
Added calculation of stayed flat walls to EN13445 section 20.
Added calculation of simplified assessment of fatigue to AD2000 section S1.
Impoved the 2D and 3D drawing production.
Updated the language translations to Italian and Hungarian. The VVD software has now been translated to German, Italian, Finnish, Polish, Hungarian, Bulgarian, Russian, French, Turkish and Czech languages.
Includes a new MSI installation package that supports both 32 bit and 64 bit OS.
