New Version 10.1
New modules, and compatibility with Windows 7 and 64 bit OS
Please be informed that a new version 10.1 of VVD is now available for download from our web site. Version 10.1 includes a number of additions, new options, enhancements and new features.
GENERAL
Some general enhancements and additions of the new version includes:
- Added a new option for nozzle design, for hub type/thick barrel.
- Aded a new dimensional library for legs for square hollow sections to EN10219.
- Added a new design option for skirt base to AD2000 Merkblatt S 3/1.
- Added a new design option for lifting lug to EN1993-1-8, section 3.13.
- Added a new option for attachment lugs, lugs can be located inside vessel. Stresses in lugs can also be analysed in addition to stresses in shell.
- Added nozzle loads to table 4 in API 661/ISO 13706.
- Added several new sample files.
- Improvement on 2D and 3D drawings
AD2000 Module
The AD2000 module now includes the following sections:
- B 1 – Cylindrical and spherical shells under internal pressure
- B 2 – Conical shells under internal and external pressure
- B 3 – Dished ends under internal and external pressure
- B 5 – Welded and bolted flat ends
- B 6 – Cylindrical shells under external pressure (including stiffener rings)
- B 8 – Flanges (EN1591)
- B 9 – Openings and nozzles in cylindrical, conical and spherical shells
- B 10 – Thick walled cylindrical shells under internal pressure
- S 3/1 – Skirt support
- S 3/2 – Horizontal vessels on saddle support
- S 3/4 – Bracket and leg support for vertical vessels
Windows 7 Operating System
Please be informed that the VVD software is now compatible with Windows 7 operating system.
64 bit Operating Systems
Please be informed that the VVD software is compatible with 64 bit operating system.
