New Version 9.61

Version 9.61 is in compliance with Addenda 2005 to ASME VIII:2004 and Amendment No.3 to PD5500:2003.

Some enhancements of the new version includes:

-Tubelayout module significantly improved with a number of new features. It now includes 13 different flow configurations, including vertical split and mixed flow configurations.

-Material data for Titanium Gr. 1, 2, 3, 7, 9, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18, 26, 27, and 28 has been added to the material database according to PD5500:Enquiry Case 5500/136.

-Material data for Duplex and Super Duplex materials has been added to the material database according to PD5500:Enquiry Case 5500/87.

Version 9.61 ASME VIII Div.1 Additions

- Added calculation of flange rigidity to Appendix 2-14.

- Added calculation of tubesheet flanged extension to the new part UHX-9.

- Added spherically dished covers (bolted/floating heads) to Appendix 1-6.

- Added groups of nozzles for nozzles located in all types of shells and heads.

With the above addition of floating head design to Appendix 1-6, the ASME module of the VVD software now accommodates design of all configuration types of shell and tube heat exchangers.
